I’ve been shooting weddings full-time for over 5 years. I love shooting weddings so much because each day excites me thinking about how I get the opportunity to capture your story in such a unique way.
Josh and Lyssa’s day was so beautiful, relaxed, and intimate! It took place in the mountains of Golden, Colorado surrounded by their closest family and friends. I’ve known Lyssa for several years now and when she came to me with the idea of eloping in Colorado, I was jumping for joy because I literally pictured Lyssa eloping ever since I met her and I’m so honored I could go and capture it for her. There were so many little intricate and meaningful details that completed their day – Lyssa got to wear her step mother’s wedding dress which looked STUNNING on her, she pinned pictures of their grandparent’s who unfortunately couldn’t be there to see it to her bouquet, she surprised Josh with a picture of his mother who has passed to wear on his boutonnière so she could be there in spirit, and her dad surprised her during the ceremony by playing guitar and singing their special song, and their ceremony was full of lots of laughs and tears which means it was a good one! This elopement was just so full of meaning, families coming together, and history which made it so unique and unforgettable. Scroll through to see all of these moments and details unfold!
